Every year after the winter rains, the wildflower of Namaqualand start blooming that herald the start of spring. A kaleidoscopic range of colour erupts along South Africa's West Coast. The flowers carpet the fields like tie-dyed snows and attract visitors from all over the country in search of this beautiful sight akin to the tulips of Netherlands and the cherry blossoms of Japan.
